It seems freestyling and gaining respect from the greats is becoming a thing for So Easy, as another cosign for the upcoming star arises. So Easy ~ "I was freestyling for everyone that night and they were loving it! At the end of the night, I spit a verse for Bas that I wrote to J.I.D's 'Never', which I knew would be a great attention grabber since Bas and J.I.D are label mates. I wrote that verse for an interview I had with the University Of Akron like a year ago. In the middle of me rapping for him, he was already saying I had amazing breath control and I had noticed he caught this punchline I said about Jason Statham. He was like 'that was hard' and then just kept complimenting my breath control and saying how that type of breath control is really good. Bas is one of my favorite artists so it's a really great thing to get respect from an artist I rock with". Listen to the verse Easy freestyled for Bas @ 28:43 So Easy: The Story Of Kris Loyd
This is the latest album from Detroit rapper So Easy. “The Story of Kris Loyd” is Easy"s take on his life so far, and shows real progression from his first album “Since you were asking”, which felt like it was lacking something. On this album Easy has perfect cadence and flow that takes you through this project effortlessly. I have to admit I don't know a lot about Easy and I couldn’t find a lot when I was writing this, so I apologize for the lack of info. The production on this album is on point and Easy’s bars fit like a glove. He’s very coherent, easy to listen to and his lyrics are deep and expressive which really comes through on tracks like “can’t nothing run forever” But there is also lighter tracks like “Greyhounds and $50 Hotels” All round this is a good listen and although the album’s a bit long for me at 18 tracks to which 4 are interludes and has a running time of 1hr 2mins, it is worth the listen nonetheless. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• standout tracks for me are: Greyhounds and $50 and Dope man ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Rating 8 / 10 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #soeasy #detroit #hiphop#thestoryofkrisloyd #rap #newalbums#albumcover #albumreview #followxfollow#bbc1xtra #capitalxtra Big Sean got more than he expected at his meet and greet at Lids in Fairlane mall. He got to meet Detroit's next big superstar! And by the look on his face, it's obvious he knows, So Easy is indeed, next up. After hearing So Easy's freestyle, Big Sean was left saying "that sh*t was fire!" Follow So Easy on Instagram: @So_Easy_ Click here to view freestyle
